Mazi's Take: The ChatGPT Craze - What It Means For You And Why Your Prompts Matter More Than You Think

The ChatGPT Craze

Let’s talk about something that feels almost unreal.

Have you seen what’s been happening with ChatGPT lately?

I mean, really seen it?

A friend of mine recently uploaded a selfie, just a regular photo, nothing fancy and typed into ChatGPT:

“Recreate this in a Ghibli Studio animation.”

Boom. Within seconds, she was transformed into a dreamy, whimsical anime character straight out of Spirited Away.

But wait, it gets better.

They’ve now rolled out another feature that lets you restore old photos. Yes those blurry, faded images of your parents from the '60s? Now you can breathe new life into them with just a single, detailed prompt. Crazy, right?

AI is Evolving. But Are You Evolving With It?

You remember when I said,

“AI is coming for your life”?

It wasn’t just clickbait. It’s real.

But here’s what I’ve been thinking lately:

AI especially tools like ChatGPT won’t replace you.

But someone who knows how to use it well.. Yeah, they might and they will.

Let’s be real.

Can a woman get pregnant without, you know… intimacy? (Let’s exclude IVF for now.)

Can a plane take off without ignition?

Exactly. Unless you believe in juju. 😂

In other words:

You need to activate AI with precision.

Why You’re Getting Generic Results from ChatGPT

Have you ever typed something like:

“Give me a social media post to use today”

...and then felt underwhelmed by the response?

It’s not the tool’s fault. It’s your prompt.

ChatGPT is like a mirror. Whatever you put in, it reflects back. Garbage in = Garbage out.

But what happens when you feed it intentional, well-crafted prompts?

That’s when magic happens.

How to Talk to AI So It Actually Listens To You

Here’s your game plan:

✅ Know what you want.

Don’t be vague. AI isn’t a mind reader.

✅ Understand your audience.

Who are they? What do they need? Why should they care?

✅ Craft your CTA.

What do you want your audience to do after seeing your content?

Once you’ve locked in those three things, it’s time to build your prompt.

Let’s say you’re creating an ad copy for a skincare brand. Here’s a strong prompt:

“I want to write a persuasive ad copy for African women struggling with hyperpigmentation, acne, and eczema.

Model it after top-performing ads from [Insert Top Copywriter Name Here].

My goal is to drive product purchases.

The copy should include a strong hook, a solution, and a clear offer.”

This, right here?

That’s how you train your AI.

You’re not just asking. You’re guiding.

The Final Takeaway

ChatGPT is powerful and there is no doubt about that.

But to make it work for you, you’ve got to do the work:

🔹 Learn how to write better prompts.

🔹 Model the best in your industry.

🔹 Be clear, be intentional, and most importantly be human.

You can’t plant a mango seed and expect apples.

You get what you give.

So give AI the good stuff.

And let it return the favor.

I’m Mazi 1 of Social Media.

I’m not just using AI.

I’m training it to work for me and you can do that too.

Let’s build the future, one prompt at a time.
